Meet Jeannette – The Co-founder
Jeannette Abayie is the Co-founder of The Bow Hub, a children’s hair accessory
brand that specializes in first name first letter initial bows. Jeannette is a wearer
of many hats. She is a philanthropist, a Biological Scientist, a Milliner and a co-
author of a children’ s coloring book and bedtime story.
A graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in a Ghana,
Africa where she obtained a degree in Biological Science, she furthered her study
at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, New York where
she received her pre-pharmacy education. She is also a graduate of the Nasdaq
Entrepreneurial Center’s Milestone Circle Program where she connected and
networked with amazing women founders.
Among other accomplishments, Jeannette has been featured on the Nasdaq
Entrepreneurial Center’s Website Milestone Circle alumni page and Dre
Mclaughlin Authority branding podcast where she gave expert advice on
mentorship. She is part of Silicon Valley Venture Community, Women’s Network
of Entrepreneurs, Black Women CEO, Black Women Incorporated and the
ParentPreneur Foundation – just to name a few. Jeannette is privileged to be a
member of a private Facebook page of Daymond John of the Shark Group for
entrepreneurs.
She founded this award-winning company with her twin sister Jeanne. Together,
they have led the company to win the Black owned and Black lead Ellect’s
Supplier Diversity Award. Being a mother of 4 girls and aunt to 2 girls, it came as
no surprise when she co-founder this company.
At The Bow Hub we believe in the new way of doing monograms where we
eliminate the waiting period for monograms and use just the first letter of your
first name. Therefore, no matter what letter your name starts with you are sure
to get a customized hair bow or headband especially made for you on our
website. We also make beautiful regular and special occasion hair accessories.
Our accessories are for infants to the teenage years and attached to either an
alligator clip, barrette, headband or nylon headband depending on the customers
choice. All our accessories are made in a clean and sanitized .
We payattention to every little detail. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we make
sure to achieve that with every single sale.
